This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

Many thanks to Morley Dore for taking pictures during the event.

It wasn't cold enough (10-11°C) or windy enough (gusting to 40-50km/h) to scare away seven riders and an equal number of others who either volunteered or watched. The chilly southerly gusts of wind were tricky, but thankfully the cold showers only started after the event! To get some idea of the event difficulty, we can look at how unimpressive the cube speed ratios are for riders between tonight and their database-best speed (on average .5313), or a little less severely, relative to their best WTT speed last year (on average .6619). We probably only did as well a we did because of the optimally low air pressure of 99.8kPa! Yet the two of us who also rode this years high-pressure (103.2kPa) low-wind (0-10km/h) Good Friday Time Trial were slower today - the fact that I was "close" was only a byproduct of stripping the flowers and bunnies off of my bike and helmet!
